Guatemalan rum Zacapa XO is launching on the Czech market with new packaging. For many years, Zacapa’s presentation was based on a classic concept of luxury-dark colours, gold detailing and a sturdy gift box. The new design takes a different approach. The visuals feature warmer shades, organic lines, a more pronounced texture and a lighter interior, intended to evoke the amber colour of the rum itself. The inspiration came from the Guatemalan landscape and the surroundings of the so-called “House Above the Clouds”, where Zacapa matures at an altitude of approximately 2,300 metres above sea level.
The new packaging is intended to look more contemporary and striking, while making a stronger reference to the rum’s Guatemalan origins. According to the manufacturer, the blend itself remains unchanged.
