Full Competition Rules (the "Rules")

The purpose of this document is to provide a complete and clear set of rules for competitions (hereinafter referred to as the "Competition") in the Czech Republic. The abbreviated version of the Rules on promotional materials intended for consumers shall be interpreted in accordance with this document. This document may be amended at any time and only by written amendment. The relationship between the Organiser and the Promoter is governed by a separate contractual document, and this document governs only the rules of the competition specified below.

I. Date of the Competition

  1. The competition will take place on the date specified in the Facebook post located at https://www.facebook.com/VisitChef or on the page www.visitchef.com in the article dedicated to it (hereinafter referred to as the "competition period"). These rules govern the terms and conditions of the Competition in the Czech Republic.

II. Eligibility

  1. A natural person over the age of 13 with a permanent residence and delivery address in the Czech Republic and an established Facebook account who decides to participate in the Contest and who agrees to these Rules (hereinafter also referred to as "Participant", "Contestant" or "Contestant") may become a Contest participant by visiting the Contest post located at https://www.facebook.com/VisitChef or www.visitchef.com in the article dedicated to the Contest.
  2. All persons in an employment or similar relationship with the organiser, the sponsor, or the cooperating companies, as well as persons close to such persons, are excluded from the competition.
  3. Persons who do not meet the conditions for participation in the competition or who act in breach of the competition rules will not be entered into the competition. Even if such a person fulfills some of the conditions for winning a prize, e.g., as a result of false information provided, they do not become a winner and are not entitled to the prize. In such a case, the organiser and the sponsor of the competition are entitled to award the prize to the next winner in line or to use it for other marketing purposes. An entrant will be disqualified if the organiser and the sponsor discover or have reasonable grounds to suspect that a fraudulent or dishonest act has been committed by an entrant or any other person who has assisted the entrant in obtaining the prize. Unauthorized interference with the technical security of the server/website on which the competition is being run will also be deemed to be fraudulent conduct. An entrant must not interfere in any way with the technical security of the server on which the competition is being run or disrupt or endanger the operation of that server.

III. Contest Prizes and Their Delivery

  1. The competition is for prizes (prizes), the exact quantity and type of which are determined by the organiser and the competition sponsor. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or claimed for any prize other than those specified by the organiser and the competition provider. The organiser and the sponsor are not otherwise obliged to the participants, and they are not entitled to any other benefits from the organiser and the sponsor than those specified in these rules. The prize cannot be claimed in court and is not legally enforceable.
  2. In the event of winning, the Contestant will be informed where the prize can be collected—only in person at the invitation of the Contest Organizer in Prague. Except for the prize in the form of an electronic ticket and/or discount on the ticket and/or discount in the e-shop and/or voucher, which will be sent to the winner's e-mail. Each contestant can win only once.
  3. In the event that the winner fails to collect the prize in person at the requested and agreed location and on the due date, the winner's entitlement to receive the prize shall cease in full, and the prize shall be forfeited without compensation to the Promoter and the Contest Sponsor. The winner is not entitled to make any claims relating to the prize. The competition organiser and sponsor is entitled to use the forfeited prize for other marketing purposes.

IV. Competition

  1. The competition is conducted through a Facebook post or article on the website, where the contestant plays for prizes specified in the post or article.
  2. The prize will be awarded to the contestant if he/she achieves the required number of points or meets the promoter's specifications and is selected and notified by the promoter.
  3. The number of prizes is limited, and the competition will be terminated without notice once all prizes have been won.

V. Participation in the Competition and Determination of Winners

  1. A Facebook user becomes a Contestant the moment he/she responds to a Facebook post and completes the tasks provided.
  2. A visitor to the www.visitchef.com website becomes a contestant when they respond to the contest post, complete the tasks, and submit a completed response form.
  3. To claim the prize in person or by e-mail, the following information is required: first and last name, e-mail address, and telephone number.
  4. A participant can only enter the competition once.
  5. The Organiser and the Promoter reserve the right to decide and determine during the duration of the competition: the duration of the competition, the number, and type of prizes specified within this competition, it being expressly stated that the Promoter is entitled to determine the number of prizes for the competition. In the event that the number of prizes determined by the organizer and the sponsor is won during the course of the contest before the end date of the entire contest, the organizer and the sponsor shall not be obliged to increase this number of prizes in any way, and the contestant shall not be entitled to the prize, even if he/she would otherwise be entitled to the prize according to Article IV of these contest rules.
  6. The competition is played for a predetermined number of prizes.
  7. Registration on the competition website and participation in the competition is free of charge.

VI. Processing of Personal Data and Expressions of a Personal Nature

  1. By participating in the contest, the participant agrees to the inclusion of all personal data provided by him/her (hereinafter referred to as "data") in the database of the organizer and the sponsor company called Visitchef s.r.o. with registered office at Na Florenci 2116/15, 110 00 Prague 1, ID: 09051163, VAT: CZ09051163 (hereinafter referred to as "Company"), and to their processing by the processor, respectively. 480/2004 Coll, for an indefinite period of time or until the consent is withdrawn. The Participant acknowledges that he/she has the rights pursuant to Sections 11 and 21 of Act No. 101/2000 Coll., i.e., in particular, that the provision of data is voluntary, that he/she can withdraw his/her consent at any time free of charge at the Company's address, that he/she has the right to access personal data and the right to correct such personal data, block incorrect personal data, destroy them, etc. However, withdrawal of consent to the provision and processing of personal data before the end of the contest period will result in the participant's exclusion from the contest. In case of doubt about the Company's compliance with its obligations, the participant may contact the Company.
  2. Participants expressly agree that the organiser and the sponsor of the competition are entitled to use the name, surname, municipality of residence, and email address provided by them free of charge in the media (including the Internet), promotional and advertising materials of the sponsor in connection with this competition and its products, provided that audio and visual recordings of the participants may be made and published in the above manner for a period of 5 years from the end of the competition.

VII. Final Provisions

  1. The organiser and the sponsor reserve the right to make final decisions on all matters relating to this competition. The organizer and the sponsor are also entitled to change, shorten, extend, cancel, or modify the rules of the competition at any time. In the event that changes are made to the terms and conditions of the competition, this will be done in writing and published on the competition website: https://www.facebook.com/VisitChef or in a dedicated web article at www.visitchef.com.
  2. The results of the competition are final, without the possibility of appeal. The Organiser and the Sponsor reserve the right to substitute the declared prizes with prizes of similar type and value and to change the terms and conditions for the delivery of the prizes in the event that the prizes are not provided to it in such a way that they can be delivered to the winners in accordance with the competition rules. Such a decision shall be effective from the date of its publication on the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/VisitChef or in a dedicated web article at www.visitchef.com.
  3. No prizes may be exchanged or paid in exchange for prizes in kind, nor may participation in the competition or prizes be claimed by legal means.
  4. The organiser and sponsor of the competition shall not be liable for any damage that the participant may suffer as a result of his/her participation in the competition or through the prize won. The terms and conditions of the relationship between the participant and the organiser and the sponsor set out in these rules also apply to the relationship between the sponsor and the participant.
  5. The Organiser and the Promoter reserve the right to decide all issues relating to this Competition at their sole discretion and without giving reasons. The Organiser and the Promoter hereby assume no obligation to the Participants, and they are not entitled to any other consideration from the Organiser and the Promoter other than as set out in these Rules.
  6. The organizer and the sponsor of the competition are not responsible for technical problems in the transmission of data by electronic means. The organiser and sponsor are not responsible for any problems with the functionality of the website where the competition information will be published.
  7. By participating in the competition, each contestant agrees to the rules and undertakes to comply with them unconditionally.
  8. This contest is in no way sponsored, administered by, or affiliated with Facebook.
  9. Facebook Inc. does not provide any user support or responses to complaints or suggestions from contestants.
