Bacardi is expanding its partnership with ecoSPIRITS, a company developing a system for reusable packaging and the distribution of spirits. The new global licensing agreement follows a pilot project in 2023, when Bacardi became the first spirits producer to use ecoSPIRITS’ technology to distribute spirits on cruise ships. Bacardi now has access to the entire ecoSPIRITS technology platform, and both companies aim to extend its use to other sectors and operating environments.
