"On the island of Mauritius, famous for its sugar cane plantations, you will find volcanic and limestone soil that is truly unique and gives the rum an unmistakable aroma. Additionally, the significant temperature variations, ranging from 13 to 40 degrees, impact the aging process of the rums," says Violaine Dovert, Area Export Manager for rum brands such as Arcane and Beach House.
