In a recent update to Dubai’s high-end dining scene, Studio Frantzén at Atlantis, The Palm has been relaunched as Brasserie Frantzén, marking a shift toward a more casual, approachable concept while retaining the culinary vision of Swedish chef Björn Frantzén.

The original Studio Frantzén — which brought Nordic-Asian influenced cuisine to Dubai when it opened in late 2024 — has now evolved into Brasserie Frantzén. The new iteration continues to operate in the Atlantis venue but with a refreshed identity and menu that leans into à la carte dining with lighter, more relaxed offerings compared with its predecessor.

The transition reflects a broader trend in global restaurant concepts where fine dining chefs expand into formats that can engage a wider audience without completely departing from their culinary roots. In this case, the brasserie remains grounded in French and Asian gastronomy infused with Nordic influences, a stylistic hallmark of Frantzén’s approach.

Set in a modern Scandinavian-inspired space within Atlantis The Palm, Brasserie Frantzén features a large à la carte menu with distinctive flavor profiles and refined yet accessible preparations. The venue includes a lively dining room, a private dining area, bar seating, and opportunities to observe kitchen service up close — all designed to balance quality cooking with a dynamic, social atmosphere.

The bar program also leans into Nordic-oriented cocktails and spirits, complementing the food offerings with drinks that emphasize regional character and creative mixes.

This relaunch comes as part of Frantzén Group’s ongoing presence in Dubai, which also includes FZN by Björn Frantzén, the sibling fine-dining concept that has received attention on the global stage.

Brasserie Frantzén’s rebranding highlights how destination dining in Dubai continues to evolve, blending international culinary perspectives with formats that engage both local diners and visiting food enthusiasts.
