Piper-Heidsieck has unveiled an exceptional limited-edition cuvée created to mark the 100th anniversary of Marilyn Monroe’s birth. This collector’s edition brings together the world of champagne with one of the most iconic figures in film history, while also commemorating the actress’s long-standing association with the brand.

The edition was created as a tribute to Marilyn Monroe, who was known for her passion for champagne and who once said of Piper-Heidsieck: “Piper – my favourite.” The limited-edition collection is therefore based not merely on a marketing gimmick, but on a historically documented relationship between the Hollywood star and the maison, the roots of which stretch back to the 1950s.

A muse who transcends the silver screen

Marilyn Monroe became one of the most influential pop culture icons of the 20th century. Her career spanned 29 films, including the legendary Some Like It Hot, for which she won a Golden Globe. She was also one of the first actresses to actively take control of her career and set up her own production company.

It is precisely this combination of independence, charisma, and the ability to redefine her era that makes her a natural muse for the Piper-Heidsieck brand, which has long been built on celebrating life, emotions, and distinctive personalities.

Champagne as a collector’s item

The limited-edition Piper-Heidsieck Champagne Cuvée Brut Marilyn Monroe comes in a 750 ml bottle with a striking visual identity. The dominant feature is a portrait of Marilyn Monroe in the brand’s signature red colour scheme, complemented by her signature in gold. The result is an object that transcends the ordinary category of champagne and enters the realm of collectible design—a fusion of wine, pop culture, and luxury branding.

Founded in 1785, Piper-Heidsieck has long linked the world of champagne with art and culture. This limited edition builds on that tradition while also shifting it towards contemporary pop culture, where icons of the past become part of a brand’s visual and gustatory storytelling.
