What happens when Stockholm’s cocktail scene meets Prague’s Forbína? We’ll find out on 11 August, when Björn Kjellberg and Viktor Hauer from Röda Huset bar arrive in Prague. The Stockholm-based bartenders will bring a Scandinavian perspective on cocktails, local ingredients and the bar’s philosophy. In 2025, Röda Huset was ranked among the world’s 35 best bars by The World’s 50 Best Bars.

Ahead of the evening’s Guest Shift, a MasterClass will take place from 2.00 pm, offering a closer look at how Röda Huset operates, its philosophy and its approach to Scandinavian cocktails. The Guest Shift itself will begin at 8.00 pm, when Björn Kjellberg and Viktor Hauer will take over the bar at Forbína and present guests with signature cocktails from one of the most distinctive bars on the contemporary global scene.

Röda Huset opened in 2021 in central Stockholm, founded by Hampus Thunholm. The bar is renowned for its distinctly local philosophy, based on Nordic ingredients, seasonal foraging and precise, minimalist craftsmanship. The result is a range of cocktails that reinterpret traditional Scandinavian ingredients and flavours with a contemporary twist.

Indeed, the emphasis on local sourcing and working with their own ingredients is one of Röda Huset’s core principles. The bar works exclusively with local Scandinavian products and flavours, and its cocktail programme also includes The Scandinavian Cocktail Experience – a tasting menu inspired by the flavours, traditions and changing seasons of the Nordic region.

Röda Huset has also won several prestigious international awards, including the Campari One to Watch 2022 and the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2023. It was ranked 35th in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2025.

The Röda Huset × Forbína Guest Shift therefore offers a unique opportunity to sample the Scandinavian approach to cocktails right here in Prague, while also meeting two members of the team from one of today’s highest-rated bars.
