Gastronomy, technology, design and investment came together for two days in Voděrádky, near Prague. The GastroMach Summit 2026 attracted nearly 1,000 industry professionals and featured talks, masterclasses, live cooking demonstrations and networking opportunities.

This year’s event was significantly larger than last year’s one-day gathering. The programme featured four thematic blocks, eight masterclasses, six Chef Talks, ten zones and more than 50 brands. Key topics included operational efficiency and design, AI, data and robotics, the future of gastronomy, and nutrition and longevity.

The event’s international dimension was provided, among others, by representatives from Livit.Design and Gault&Millau Italia. Miguel Chilleron from Livit.Design presented examples of global gastronomic projects and explored what restaurants might look like in five years’ time.

Alongside technology, the food itself remained at the centre of attention. The programme included culinary masterclasses, tastings, Chef Talks and evening networking events. Gault&Millau acted as a Credibility Partner, ensuring the programme’s professional standards.

The organisers are already preparing the next edition. In 2027, they aim to focus more on data and the economics of gastronomic businesses and to expand the international programme. Meanwhile, the GastroMach Lab is being set up in Zdiby, near Prague, to serve as a showroom, an educational space and a venue for testing technologies and developing products.
