Mixed drinks are no longer the exclusive preserve of bars. Stock Plzeň-Božkov has expanded its portfolio with six new ready-to-drink cocktails, bringing popular bar favourites in a handy 250 ml can. The range includes tropical fruit flavours, gin and tonic, and classics such as the Cosmopolitan.
A can instead of a shaker, ice instead of fiddly preparation, and a few seconds instead of waiting for the bartender. The RTD (ready-to-drink) segment is becoming increasingly popular as a way to enjoy your favourite mixed drink without having to stock a home bar or search for the nearest cocktail bar.
Stock Plzeň-Božkov has therefore expanded its range with six new varieties. Amundsen is launching the Pornstar Martini, Cosmopolitan and Blue Lagoon; Republica is introducing the Mai Tai; and Dynybyl is adding Gin & Tonic Strawberry and Gin & Tonic Cherry. All come in a practical 250 ml format, with an emphasis on fruity, refreshing flavours. Simply chill and open.
Pornstar Martini – no mixing required
One of the standout additions to the new range is the Amundsen Pornstar Martini. This popular cocktail is built on the distinctive flavour of passion fruit, complemented by subtly sweet notes. The result is a fruity, tropical profile with a gentle fizz. Alongside it comes the Amundsen Cosmopolitan, which stays true to the characteristic combination of cranberries and citrus. This classic cocktail—long a symbol of an elegant night out—is now available in a format that’s ready to serve straight away. The third offering from the Amundsen range is the Blue Lagoon. Citrus notes are complemented by pineapple, resulting in a distinctly tropical combination aimed primarily at lovers of fruit-forward drinks.
Mai Tai for lovers of the tropics
The rum-based part of the range is represented by Republica Mai Tai. It combines pineapple, orange and soda water, delivering a fresh, tropical character.
The Mai Tai is one of those cocktails many people associate with exotic locations, palm trees and long evenings outdoors. In a can, it comes in a simpler form—perfect for a barbecue, a day out or a get-together with friends.
Gin & tonic with a twist
The range is also expanded by Dynybyl Gin & Tonic Strawberry and Dynybyl Gin & Tonic Cherry. The first variant combines gin, tonic and strawberry notes. The second adds the more distinctive flavour of juicy cherries to the classic gin-and-tonic combination. Both variants build on a tried-and-tested base, but take it in a fruitier, more summery direction.
A trend that has moved from bars to cans
This simplicity is one of the reasons RTD cocktails are gaining attention. Consumers don’t have to hunt down individual ingredients, measure out alcohol, prepare a shaker or worry about whether they have enough ice and suitable glasses at home. The concept is the opposite: chill well, open and serve. Canned cocktails therefore fit naturally into situations where traditional cocktail-making isn’t entirely practical—from summer parties and festivals to day trips and simply relaxing on the terrace. What’s more, selected flavours are also available in a non-alcoholic version.
Stock is the first on the market to carry the Czech Bartenders Association’s quality seal
Another notable feature of the new range is the quality seal from the Czech Bartenders Association. Stock Plzeň-Božkov is the first and only company on the Czech market to feature this certification on its mixed drinks. According to the company, the certification confirms a flavour profile inspired by professionally mixed cocktails and an emphasis on quality within the RTD category.
Stock’s new mixed drinks are available in the best-known retail chains throughout the Czech Republic. These six new products offer a simple answer to the question of what to have when you fancy a cocktail but don’t feel like playing bartender at home. Pornstar Martini, Cosmopolitan, Blue Lagoon, Mai Tai or a fruity gin and tonic—this time, all you need to do is reach into the fridge.
