In its anniversary year, CODA is leaving Berlin and heading north to Copenhagen. From July 16 to August 16, 2026, René Frank and the entire CODA team will relocate their kitchen to Denmark’s capital, spending a full month cooking in one of the city’s most iconic settings.

CODA will take over the legendary Japanese Pagoda at Tivoli Gardens—one of Europe’s most exciting gastronomic stages. Since 2021, Tivoli has hosted exclusive residencies by internationally acclaimed restaurants, and the 2026 season will bring together a total of 15 Michelin stars from around the world.

Copenhagen is widely regarded as a global hotspot of the modern fine dining scene—and this year, Tivoli welcomes some of the most compelling culinary concepts on the planet. Alongside CODA, participating restaurants include the three-Michelin-starred Sühring, Zilte from Antwerp, and Flocons de Sel from the French Alps.

For CODA, the Copenhagen residency is an opportunity to present its uncompromising, dessert-driven culinary philosophy in a new cultural context. “Ten years of CODA is not a moment to look back, but to move forward. Spending the summer at Tivoli with the team is a wonderful opportunity to present our non-conforming approach in a new environment,” says Frank.

During the residency, the menu will continue to follow no classical structure. There is no separation between sweet and savory. Each course stands on its own—shaped by pâtisserie techniques, precision, and balance. A true CODA experience, simply set in a different place.

For the duration of the residency at Tivoli, CODA in Berlin will be closed.
